A group of officials including the Sports Director, Siddhartha Das, Jt Secretary Ranjit Parida, Head Coach of Odisha Reliance Foundation Athletics HPC, Martin Owens, and representatives of the Sports & Youth Services Department, gathered at the Biju Patnaik International Airport to extend a warm welcome to an outstanding athlete. Kishore Jena’s remarkable talent and unwavering dedication have etched his name in history as the first athlete from Odisha to represent India in the finals of the prestigious World Athletics Championship, which recently concluded in Budapest.
