XIMB Celebrates 36 Years with Business Excellence Summit

Bhubaneswar, October 2, 2023: Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, marked its 36th anniversary with the 5th edition of the annual Business Excellence Summit from September 30 to October 1st, 2023, themed “Navigating the Unknown.” Renowned speakers enriched attendees with insights.

Mr Chittaranjan Mohanty, Founder of Samvi Hifresh and an XIM Bhubaneswar alumnus, emphasized resilience and stepping out of comfort zones. Mr. Abhishek Asthana, co-founder of Hood and Ginger Monkey founder shared his journey from engineering to an MBA. He highlighted the value of learning and diligence, including a stint on Shark Tank.

Miss Reena Rathi, Head of Mobile Business Development at Amazon and XIM Bhubaneswar alumna, discussed customer-centric innovation. Mrs. Jane Saquria Kumar, Partner at PWC, shared experiences as an investment banker.

Mr. Tushar Sahu, Director of Engineering at Google, explored “The New Age of AI and Technology Career Options,”. He focused on Generative AI and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Mrs Jagriti Kumar, Sports Medicine Franchise Lead at Smith & Nephew, emphasised customer needs, profitability, and societal responsibility.

The summit ended with a heartfelt closing ceremony where Kamlesh Sahu, Cultural Secretary of XIM Bhubaneswar, thanked speakers, faculty, and committees. General Secretary Anurag Mohapatra extended appreciation to key figures, including Fr. Antony R. Uvari (Vice Chancellor), Fr. Arockia Das (CFO & Deputy Registrar), and Dr. Biswa Swarup Misra (Dean), and media partners for their coverage.
